It is a manor house in which its architect, Andr\u00e9s de Vandelvira, introduced elements that would later spread to all civil architecture in the following century. This includes the corner balcony, with a central marble column, which is a local variant. The distribution of decorative elements, merely clustered around the main entrance and balconies (leaving the walls bare), and the arcade of the main floor are also characteristics of Vandelvirian architecture and of the Spanish Renaissance that would predominate in the 17th century.
