One of the most emblematic towers for the people of Úbeda. Located in one of the main squares and present at many civic events, it also serves as the clock that marks the time for everyone. Originally, it stood defending the busy Toledo Gate within the city walls, which led to the towns of Baeza, Jaén, Toledo, Córdoba, Sevilla, and the court. In the 16th century, the clock was added, adapting the tower”s function. A second body with the machinery was then added, along with an octagonal temple-like bell tower with semicircular arches and interspersed linteled openings, decorated with floral motifs at the corners. At the base, another important element is the Gothic image of Our Lady of Remedies, deeply linked to the city”s history.

["post-14765","poi","type-poi","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
