Classified as a 2nd degree building in the PEPCH. From the 16th century. Typology of palace in urban fortress style, with a project of a lateral tower (unfinished) as an allusion to the warrior past and the thriving nobility that inhabits it. Something typical of this century and an example that we also find in the Palace of the Marquis of Mancera. Belonging to the lineage of the Mess\u00eda, this family developed a taste for the exotic as reflected in the interior decoration and in their prominent mascarons (Indian type, reminiscent of Olmec heads) on the central balcony of the facade, one of the most interesting points.
