Located in the vicinity of Valencia Street, the area par excellence of pottery workshops and the cradle of one of the pillars of local craftsmanship. Until the 1960s, most of the buildings in the area were workshops. They all concentrated there due to the abundance of water springs, an essential element for the clay working process. This also helped to avoid inconveniencing other neighbors with the smoke during firing.
