Resumen: Las obras que el Instituto del Patrimonio Histórico Español, realizaba en la Plaza de Padre Antonio para eliminar las humedades al exterior de la fachada norte de la iglesia de El Salvado, en el Casco Histórico de Úbeda, pusieron de manifiesto la existencia de un edificio situado en la mitad oriental de la fachada, que probablemente fue desmantelado al terminar El Salvador.

Los restos estructurales y la secuencia estratigráfica documentada, aportan nuevos datos sobre la estructura urbana anterior a la conquista cristiana y del intenso proceso de sustitución de la trama urbana alto medieval.

Abstract: The works that the Institute of the Spanish Historical Patrimony, carried out in Father’s Square Antonio to eliminate the humidities to the exterior of the north facade of the church of The one Saved, in the Historical Helmet of Úbeda, they showed the existence of a building located in the oriental half of the facade that was probably dismantled when finishing El Salvador.

The structural remains and the documented stratigraphic sequence, they contribute new data on the urban structure previous to the Christian conquest and of the intense process of substitution of the medieval high urban plot.
