Southern Renaissance Route
Description
This route begins at Plaza Vázquez de Molina. This square constitutes the most important monumental complex of the city and corresponds to the so-called Exceptional Universal Value, EUV, for which UNESCO declared the city of Úbeda a World Heritage Site on July 3, 2003. Made up of a group of civil and religious buildings constructed in just fifty years, it forms the great Renaissance architectural ensemble of Spain and one of the most important in Europe.
