Old Convent of San Andrés
Description
It was founded in the 15th century. Its friars aimed to provide spiritual assistance to the condemned and give them burial, either in the portico of their convent church or under the arcades that existed on the old Calle de la Cárcel. The convent was demolished in the mid-20th century, with only a portal remaining, featuring a semicircular arch flanked by columns topped by a frieze and a niche. It is currently the Francisco de los Cobos high school.
