1st of May Square
Description
We are facing the square that best preserves its late medieval urban structure. This square is also known as Paseo del Mercado, since public markets were held here for centuries. It was also the venue for various public, political, economic, and religious events, which translated into commemorative events, council elections, public executions, bullfights, etc.
