Santa Lucía Gate
Description
BIC-Monument. It preserves part of the original arch's starting points and the foundations or the stretch of wall where it opened. It gave access to the town of Quesada. In this open space, we find a simple stone fountain with two spouts, at a crossroads to guide us through the Navarro alley to the medieval district of Santo Tomás, and through this reconstructed Mudejar gate, we also access the popular and potter's district of San Millán. From the El Salvador viewpoint, a walk begins along the so-called Mirador Round, where the landscape of orchards and olive groves and the stretches of wall border what was the ancient citadel of the Hispano-Muslim city.
